Ladies and gentlemen, Governor Andrew Cuomo recently announced that he thinks we need to reopen the economy.

We can't do it soon enough. We also heard from Mayor Laurie Lightfoot of Chicago that

bars and restaurants need to reopen. I wonder what caused the sudden change of heart from their

previous positions that basically defied the science. Since the start of the COVID restrictions,

there have been some people who have been standing up saying it's unconstitutional and it's unreasonable.

Early on, many health experts and scientists were saying, how about we protect the vulnerable?

We protect those with pre-existing conditions and comorbidities and we allow young, healthy people

to work because the science wasn't out to justify destroying the economy. Well, there was one gem

that defied the lockdown in a variety of ways, but joining us now actually have the owner of that

gem, Ian Smith. Thank you for having me. But you're still following social distancing and masks

and all that stuff, right? Yeah, we opened up with a 15, we opened up with a 15 point safety protocol.

When we reopened, we didn't do it to be defiant. We didn't do it to push back against government.

We did it to provide a solution where there was not. They said 14 days and seven weeks in,

we were still being told to be patient. We were still being told that there was no plan to reopen.

So my partner, Frank and I put together our own plan. We social distance, we have temperature

checks at the door, we have an entirely touchless system coming in, we had contact tracing,

we have record of every single person who's been in the facility when, what time, what their

temperature was, with a health questionnaire that filled out. So you guys took it seriously.

Very, but you were just open and for that, you were fined a ridiculous sum of money.

And so the big story, which was, we'll just, we'll get into it and after we do the general
