The big controversy today this morning in Eastern time there was a boxing match between an

individual who is registered x y chromosomes previously but may or may not be, this is trans, we don't know for sure, and it's led to a lot of

controversy because the female competitor bowed out, forfeited the match after 46 seconds,

pulled her hand away from the ref, dropped to her knees,

started crying and refused to fight.

This has led to a lot of people saying that they stand with a female competitor because

the Olympics should never have allowed a male to

compete. Well there's another male. As the story goes it's two individuals who

they claim were born female or at the very least registered female on

their birth certificates and passports because Taiwan and Algeria, where the two fighters hail from, do not recognize transgender alterations to certificates.

However, these individuals may have some type of androgen insensitivity that results in them

presenting as female despite having testosterone and x y chromosome.

So the whole thing's been quite controversial and it's led

to a statement from the Olympics. Currently Riley Gaines, tweeting in support of

the female, has over 134,000 retweets on her post, Stand With The Individual.

So massive story.
