Well you are one of the more humble people that I've ever

cyberstocked and so I would like to call you the greatest ghostwriter of all time

but I can't do that so I'm just to say a significantly above average

Coast fighter. I appreciate it. I think I'll have a t-shirt face.

I would like to ask you this because you know obviously if our listeners Google search your name, you've worked with Bob Hurley and Denzel Washington and Damon John and Ray Lewis, big names.

But where did it all start? Where did you go to high school and when did you first become interested in writing?

Well I grew up on Long Island and I was kind of a

of came of age during the Watergate so I had posters of

Woodward and Bernstein up on my wall when I was a kid and I always thought I'd be

a swashbuckling journalist, you know, writing wrongs and setting America right.

And I never quite thought that I'd be working in the trade and in the way that I am now. I don't think you could find a

middle school kid or a high school kid anywhere in this country who's dreaming of becoming a

ghost writer. It's sort of a silent hidden profession.
