In today's episode, you speak to Tim Silverwood.

I'm very excited about this episode.

Tim is, for people who don't know, are the co-founder of an organization called Take

3 for the Sea.

And for those of you playing along our home, we spoke at length about Take 3 in episode

174 as part of our mini series on plastics. So you already know that Take 3 for the C,

you know, encourages people to do what it says right there on the box. If ever you're outside,

pick up three pieces of rubbish

and protect our oceans. And it's an environmentalist organization. So Tim co-founded it with

another two women. But on top of that, Tim is also an environmentalist in his own right. He

founded a company called Rechusableable which sells reusable products that replace single

use plastics and he's someone who has actually sailed from Hawaii to Vancouver and explored

the Great Pacific Garbage Patch oh this is so interesting and tragic. Terrifying, yeah.

It is.
