Well, I'll take a crack at that. I think it's unlikely that we would both be in the US House of Representatives.

If you consider the fact he ran against two sons of South Carolina, he ran against strong thermon, son, he ran against Carol Campbell's son, and don't merge in that primary.

I ran against an incumbent, which is not a smart wise thing to do in a Republican primary.

So the fact that we were together in 2010 is unlikely.

And I think our state has a rich but provocative history when it comes to race.

When we were born, we couldn't attend school together. We couldn't eat at the same restaurants. We couldn't use the same water fountains.
