Look, this is going to be a very contentious debate amongst political pundits. I think what

ultimately matters most is that what I had hoped

would happen did in fact happen, that Donald Trump, after realizing that the market was going to

absolutely implode, went for a contingency plan. Now, two things can be true at once. His plan A didn't work, but he did have a plan B in mind.

So I think what really happened is that he has these a couple guys that are lunatics,

Lutnik and Peter Navarro. So Howard Lutnik and Peter Navarro are

these like maximal tariff guys that believe that yeah, do it off of trade deficits. Do it

however you do it however you want. Who cares? They're beautiful. Tariffs are the best thing in the

world. And then you have the other guys like Scott Besant, the more moderate people who

actually have real money

management and investing experience that are like, yo, this is dangerous as hell. But as I said,

two things can be true at once. Did Trump have a master plan? Yes. Was he angling for something?
