So you kind of blew my mind this weekend because I have not been following the news as much as you do Tim Castigrall obviously every night huge audience you have to be on top of everything you cover like four or five stories a night. had to tell to me three times because I assumed I was misunderstanding something. So can you talk a bit about what just happened in Chicago with those ICE agents? Because it seems unbelievable to me. Trisha McLaughlin, who I believe is like deputy AG. I'm not, it's something like that. She's just under Pambondi. reported that there was an ice vehicle that got boxed in by about 10 vehicles.

I'm assuming she's implying they were all driven by, you know, leftists rammed. And one of the individuals that was ramming them was armed so they opened fire, striking her. The ice agents opened fire. Ice agents opened fire in defense as they were being rammed. And then the, we don't know exactly what happened after this, but the individual fled. I should went to the hospital apparently and local police were instructed to stand down and clear the area. Now here's where it gets crazy. A video just came out or in the other day showing a black SUV ramming a white ice vehicle. Everyone said, wow, this must be the video. It's a second time it happened in one day. there were two incidents where leftist rammed ice vehicles and it resulted in a crash and then troops getting out. And I don't know if the second time they were shooting at each other, but oh yeah. So I think this is, I can't begin to tell you how disturbed I am by this because you've been talking for a long time about us being on this kind of civil war trajectory and part of me, I'm sure part of you wants to think oh this is Tim kind of you know freaking out for no reason like let's take a deep breath we're not there yet but as you also know and as everyone listens to those these things happen gradually then suddenly yeah and again I had to tell me this three times we have it in writing that the cops were ordered to stand down to not protect ICE agents who were being attacked. Yes. According to DHS, the statement from DHS from Church of Maclaufflin was local police were instructed to clear the area and not provide assistance. There have since been leaked texts that are unconfirmed, but come on. Some cops going to tell somebody. Sure. Apparently the cops said, this is crazy. We were told by our superiors to avoid the area and not get involved in any way. So yeah, it seems I mean, look at what Pritzker Pritzker just sued Trump over the National Guard deployment, which was in response. There's an interesting report out of Portland where when the ice, the ice facility began to board up their windows. Do you see what happened? No, the port, Portland filed a zoning violation for them boarding up their windows due to the riots and instructed them to clear the windows. Isn't that crazy? I wish I could laugh because I remember during Trump's first administration when Attorney General

Barr sent federal troops to protect a federal courthouse and in what seems like something

out of a dumb political satire, the Democrats in Congress hauled them in front of a hearing to ask him, how are you having federal troops protecting federal building in a little variety? And it's like, I couldn't even wrap my head on how this was being sold to their audience. But I would have thought that if I say agents are being fired upon or anyone is being fired upon, that unless this is some kind of bizarre, you know, terrorist situation, we're like, okay, we don't want this to blow up and there's lots of army, some both sides are like that. You don't ever tell the police to stand down and it's something that's kind of containable.
