Starting with Stacey Spikes, the black founder of movie pass who got pushed out of the company

he built.

Everybody's trying to knock you down and it's not going to work and no one's going to like it.

And then boom, it's everywhere.

And that was that moment.

I'm bad for the same reason because if someone asked me a question, I just answer it to the best

of my ability.

A hundred percent.

But if it's really a silly question, I'll go, oh, I'm not much good with those sorts of

questions.

What I need to be better at is someone asks a good question, and I think, oh, that's a good question.

I'm going to unpack it.

And it's, no, I don't, that's what gets me in trouble, because I'll go, you could look at it like this and you could look at it like that.

And then the press will go, he said that thing.

And I'm like, no, I was doing the thing I'm trying to do, which is to be self-aware about my bias that doesn't work out.
