comedian, comedy writer, or director on to play and talk about one of their jokes,

but this time the joke is a song from a musical. Our guest this week is

Tim Minchin, the Australian comedic sensation famous for his

rise sardonic compositions, you know, and funny hair.

No, I did not ask him if his jokes were counterclockwise. Who told you that?

I invited him on to talk about one of the songs he wrote for the Groundhog Day musical,

which was nominated for seven Tony's.

It's actually his second multiple Tony nominated show in a row after he wrote the music and lyrics for Matilda.

You've seen Grand Al Day the movie right so I don't have to kind of explain the plot.

Just know that there are some alterations which Tim and I discuss but essentially follows the same guy

reliving the same day over and over again plot. The song he picked is Stuck which comes about

20 minutes into the show right after Phil has experienced the same day three times. The song is an attempt to find an explanation.
