You know, when I have a guest on that I just have tremendous respect for, I almost always put on a tie.

But in a way, it's weird because the guests that I'm going to have on right now, he's a dear friend.

I have no respect for him, whatever, and I am still wearing a tie.

Let me say, you look like a madman wandering the heat.

No, let me explain what happened. So last night we finished recording the whole Evensong project, you know, Christmas New Project. Amy Grant gave us her farm. And so we, for the, so we took the, she's got a beautiful barn. Wait, but you mean you got the deed? You got the deed to her barn? She gave us the deed to her 400 acres in Leepers Fork. Yeah. No, no. She give us the farm for the day. There's a beautiful barn there. And so Christmas project is called Evensong, and it's hymns and lullabies for the close of day. And so we basically spent the whole day preparing. and then as it went to twilight, we started recording the album and into the night,

and we finished the album at one in the morning.

So we get back to the house at about 2.30.

About five minutes later, it seemed like my girls come in wanting to start their day.

And Kristen said, in a very loving and respectful respectful way I think you might want to take our

children away take them for some tacos amuse them for a while that's your job right now

sweetheart and I'm not helping you with it and so so I've been basically doing that and then

so that's why that's why you look you look like a disheveled monster I think disheveled is certainly the word I would use. I think that's... Okay. Now listen. Listen.
