So this is going to sound a bit different because I am talking directly into my cell phone.

Lates on Monday night.

And yeah, I've just been refreshing my feed manically for updates on the health of DeMar Hamlin.

The last update we got is that he's in critical condition after collapsing in the first quarter

of this hugely pivotal Monday and F.A.P.A. game between the Bengals and the Bills,

needing CPR on the field and where he was surrounded by teammates and opponents who looked

in short to be comprehensively traumatized.

And so the game eventually was suspended.

No idea when it'll be resumed.

But again, that's not the update that we need right now.

And as we wait for more information, good information to come out, we're bringing you

an episode that is about actually the depths of our connections to each other and to sports.

It's one of our favorites in the past year.

It's about one of our colleagues.

And I think it might be exactly what you need if you're like me on a day like today.
