You just listed like five different people of the expectation that all of those capabilities

are going to be in one body.

You know, like I hear gunfire and I'm going to be running towards the sound of the gunfire

as a very talented, fast, you know, world champion competitive level shooter.

But then you arrive there and it was fireworks going off.

And it's a homeless person that's arguing with a business owner and then you arrive there and it was fireworks going off and it's a homeless person

that's arguing with a business owner and then you have to be able to like intellectually,

cognitively diffuse this very complex situation with a bunch of adrenaline running through your veins.

It's wildly unfair the expectation of the capability of law enforcement in general.

It's just such a hard job.

And then the whole entire world is looking for you to fail.

All interviewers have their own style, and my style is to try to get to the point and to be intensely curious.

And the key to the way is listening.
