You probably know this already, but Tim Keller is the senior pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Manhattan, New York.

And recently announced he'll be stepping down from being senior pastor on July 1.

In order, you made it very clear you don't intend to retire.

Right.

I was just wondering, did you feel like you had to say that?

Because did John Piper threaten you that if you said you're going to retire,

and if he ever saw pictures posted on Facebook of you and Kathy gathering seashells,

that he would unfriend you?
