| 0:00.0 | Civic righteousness and biblical counseling on this edition of Truth and Love. |
| 0:11.8 | I'm Dale Johnson, and you're listening to Truth and Love, a podcast of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, |
| 0:17.3 | where we seek to provide biblical solutions to the problems that people face. |
| 0:21.7 | This week on the podcast, I have with me, Marshall Adkins. He serves as assistant professor |
| 0:26.6 | of biblical counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri. And he's also |
| 0:31.9 | a certified counselor with ACBC. He's married to Rachel, and they have three children. |
| 0:38.9 | Marshall, it's good to have you back, |

| 1:21.8 | disagree with, we're not saying that what they're doing is intentionally moving in a direction |
| 1:26.8 | of harm. So just give your |
| 1:28.8 | thoughts about that idea. Yeah, I think that's really important because, you know, when we're |
| 1:32.6 | talking about Christian integrationists, Christian psychologists, or those who would claim to |
| 1:38.1 | be biblical counselors that would disagree with the way I'm presenting these things today, I think it's |
| 1:42.7 | important to acknowledge that these are |
| 1:44.2 | brothers and sisters who profess faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that we agree on a lot more |
