and exciting topic of personality traits. I'm grateful to be here. As we begin, there seems to be

a lot of confusion. I think one of the best things for us to do is just let's begin with what does

the Bible have to say about personality. Well, like so many things that are actually very important

to our daily experience, the Bible doesn't lay out a system for us to understand it. So if you try to

look up in a concordance personality and then trace it back in the Bible, you're going to be disappointed.

But you shouldn't be disappointed with the Bible because that's not the point of it.

Rather, it gives us a lens through which we understand God's purposes for humanity.
