| 0:00.0 | Why You Should Read Through the Bible this year on this edition of Truth and Love. |
| 0:12.5 | I'm Heath Lambert and you're listening to Truth and Love, a podcast of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, |
| 0:19.1 | where we seek to provide biblical solutions for the |
| 0:22.3 | problems that people face. You are listening to the podcast this week, the week before the start |
| 0:30.6 | of the brand new year. This is the season when everybody is concerned about New Year's resolutions |
| 0:36.5 | and making goals for the coming |
| 0:38.2 | year. And one goal that many Christians often have is the good and right spiritual goal of |

| 1:41.2 | that you should use, but why, for so many people listening to this, it will |
| 1:45.9 | be a struggle to complete the Bible reading plan that they select whatever it is. The reality is |
| 1:51.7 | so many folks will make a commitment to read through the Bible in a year that they won't |
| 1:55.7 | complete. And on the podcast this week, we're going to talk about three reasons why that is. |
| 2:01.3 | The first reason is a timing issue. |
