Today and iPhone, item number two. On today's show, Steve Bomber steps in it again.

Well, Apple shining bright again today, the stock closing at another 52-week high. 90 bucks, 31 cents for a single share of the stock. One reason for the jump, the yet to be announced, iPhone.

And now that we're learning, Apple's already working on a second version of it.

Well, that intro I just played comes from a news report from November of 2006.

And it was just interesting to hear at the end of that that they were talking about a second-generation iPhone,

which I haven't heard much of lately. There's nothing really going on in the rumor mills about what's the second-generation iPhone going to be.

But they were talking about it all the way back in November, and actually from that clip they

had, they went on to talk a little bit about some patents they had discovered.

Interestingly enough, what they figured the first iPhone was going to be, they completely missed

the mark.

Well, hey, that sounder means it's time for some more Steve Bomber news.

USA Today.com put up a post of an interview they did with Steve Bomber.

And the question that the reporter from USA Today asked Steve was, quote,

people get passionate when Apple comes out with something new, the iPhone, of course,

the iPod. Is that something that you'd want them to feel about Microsoft? Unquote. And here's

Steve Bomber's reply. It's sort of a funny question. Would I trade 96% of the market for 4% of the

market? I want to have products that appeal to everybody.
