and a busy week for you with college baseball starting up. So I appreciate you taking a few

minutes this morning to talk about LSU baseball in the season ahead. You got it, man. Yeah,

it's always an exciting week. You know, we're trying to finish up season preview content.

We've got opening weekend. Obviously, a lot of storylines with LSU this year, a lot of expectations. But these are expectations that I think Jay Johnson's ready for. So I can't wait for the season. I know LSU fans can't either. Yeah, it's going to be a big one. Let's start with the bad news. Let's get it out of the way.

Yesterday, we heard about Grant Taylor missing the season. I think you were probably the first

one to report it per usual, which is a credit to your reporting. But obviously, it's bad news.

For LSU, I think what softens the blow is that there is an increased depth this year with LSU's pitching.

But Grant, you know, he was so good last year, had such a great summer, so many high expectations for him come into the season.
