by two-time gold glove winner LSU softball senior Cierra.

Thanks for coming over. Thanks for bringing some decoration for our set, too. It's definitely the most bullying we've had on set. So I appreciate you coming and bringing your hardware with you. Of course. Thanks for having me. We'll talk about these. For those who are listening and not watching, there's a gold glove on the table. And we'll talk about you winning gold gloves. but I want to go back and get into your origin story.

Talk about getting into softball and how you fell in love with the sport. And kind of the way that I want to frame it is like the next, the seven-year-old, eight-year-old kid that's listening or that looks up to you and they want to follow in your footsteps, kind of retrace those steps. So let's go back to the beginning. You were born into an athletic family. I think both your parents played at the collegiate level. Were you basically like in the crib with a glove and like told, hey, you're playing sports or is this something you fell in love with naturally? A little bit of both. Definitely came back, came from an athletic family. Obviously if I didn't want to to play sports my parents would be totally happy with it but I couldn't not play sports I grew up playing sports

I started playing t-bought five years old and then I played soccer for a time so yeah

there's like no way in chance I was not playing how many siblings do did you have? I have three siblings. So I have

one older sister who played college ball and I have two older brothers who also played one played football

and baseball and then one played just baseball. So something that I when I was doing some prep for this,

notice Coach Tarina said it, I think your high school coach said it. They talk about how competitive

you were. Like was that, it sounds like that was from day one. Did you just come out competitive and ready to compete in everything that you were doing? Was that something you were born with? That's definitely something I was born with, and something I grew up with, three older siblings who always pick on you and games. Things like card games, competitive. Yeah. Me and my, I would always play wiffle ball with my brothers and his neighbors and their friends. Always be like championship game in our front yard. So definitely grew up with it. And then playing sports, it just drove it even more. Yeah. What are your earliest memories of softball? You said he started playing t-ball at five.
