And they treated Jack Clayton very poorly on this film, and there were lots of reshoots.

And they previewed it, and people didn't like it, and they had to go back.

And so there was a really long period between the time they shot the picture and when they went back and did the reshoots.

It was almost a year later. And the kids, they put the kids in the same sets. So in certain scenes in the movie, it looks like a dream sequence because all of a sudden, these kids are like huge.
