| 0:35.0 | All of these stories rolling your way want to thank all of you as well. March was the biggest month in outkick podcast history and that's despite the fact that we have not had crazily sports in this country since March 11th. |

| 1:21.0 | Your listening to Fox sports radio. |
| 1:51.0 | It's like every time you turn around something new that you were planning for is being shut down I was talking to this with my wife. |
| 1:59.0 | Last night because she had stuff scheduled for the boys in the summer camps things like that they're all being shut down in in June at least in some into July as well. |
| 2:12.0 | But I want to point out something good as we move into April and obviously it's it's only April second and this is going to be what feels like a very long month for a lot of people limited to no sports. |
| 2:25.0 | Everybody for the most part staying close to their home as there is a quarantine for much of the nation depending on exactly which state you are in. |
| 2:36.0 | But there is good news out there even though it's not getting a lot of attention I'm just going to hit you with this right off the top in Europe right now the three countries that have the worst coronavirus outbreaks are in order and or have had the worst outbreaks Italy, Spain and Germany. |
| 2:59.0 | Those three countries have the most cases in all of Europe right now Italy, Spain and Germany. |
| 3:08.0 | Italy now has had 11 straight days since they peaked in new daily infections back on March 21st they have had 11 straight days where the number of infections has been lower. |
| 3:25.0 | That is Italy has hit the top of their curve and they have substantially begun the decline deaths run about a week behind the total new infection number sometimes 10 days or so. |
| 3:39.0 | So the deaths haven't declined as rapidly as the total new infections have declined but that is very, very good news for Europe's worst hit country. |
| 3:50.0 | The next two worst hit countries in order are Spain and Germany both of those European countries have seen declines over the past six days since they hit a total new infection high six days ago now because inevitably when I say these things somebody goes and they look at the numbers and they're like they're not on clay Travis they haven't shame they haven't declined the last day. |
| 4:19.0 | They haven't declined the 11 straight days they haven't declined six straight days I don't mean that the numbers have gone down every day for six straight days or 11 straight days I mean they are below where they were at the peak in other words if the peak was 7000 cases a day that means in Italy in the consistent 11 days since then. |
| 4:48.0 | No one has been above 7000 and the same thing is true of Germany and the same thing is true of Spain well you might ask why do you bring that up because the same thing is going to soon I believe be true of the United States that is we are going to stop increasing new daily infections and we seem to have hit a bit of a plateau over the past five or six days |
| 5:16.0 | and the first thing you do is hit near a plateau and then eventually you hit a new peak and then you begin that decline doesn't mean that the raw numbers are declining and again this is significant the numbers will still climb but instead of there being 25,000 new cases a day in the United States soon we're going to see there's 23,000 or 22,000 or 19,000 and that number is going to begin to decline and that's when you know that you have |
| 5:46.0 | reached your peak and begun the backside numbers i.e. the track down as opposed to the track up when all of that happens you know that you are closer to the end than you are to the beginning and that is psychologically very powerful when exactly that date will be for the United States I'm not sure |
| 6:12.0 | but we know that it is going to happen because it is happening in Europe in many hard hit countries in fact all three of the hardest hit countries have begun their downside slope and that is important because that means that sports sooner or later is going to return so I believe that is going to be a really really good story for all of you out there |
