How's it all going?

Boris Johnson appears to have outdone himself this weekend and scared not only half the population

of his own country, but also most of Europe and quite a large part of the rest of the world as well.

You think he woke up this morning with his head in his hands?

He probably does that most mornings, to be honest.

Let's just take stock. Lurries from Britain are not being allowed into France.

Channel ferries have been shut down.

The Eurostar isn't running, and there's a queue forming with thousands of lorries in it all the way up the M20, which is also shut. from Britain, including Bizarly, Colombia, Finland, Chile, Morocco, Argentina, Ireland, El Salvador,

Israel, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Estonia, Portugal, Portugal, Germany,

Austria, Italy, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands. And it's only just after 10 in the morning, right?

So that list is more than likely to grow while the show is actually on.

And all because the Prime Minister and his advisers,

which now include the hapless, dreaded Professor Neil Ferguson once again,

wanted to frighten everyone, it's a cancelling Christmas.
