It's an interesting episode today, Jess, because I am not sure that either of us has

participated in the sport or either of the sports we will be talking about today.

We're actually revisiting something that we both agreed in a prior episode was absolutely

terrifying and that we never wanted to do.

But sometimes you have to conquer your fears by just

talking about them with strangers so we did more of that today yeah we are going to be

joined by the head of competition for the World Surf League and that is Jesse Myly Dyer

she's going to join us and she's a good sport because she answers all of our

questions the smart ones and the stupid ones about... I asked a really stupid one, so stay tuned for that question.

It's embarrassing stupid. But I did want to know her answer. I didn't think it was that stupid. I thought I asked a stupider one I like to be competitive here I thought the one that I asked was stupider

but I mean what a tease what a tease for this I know right you know what's funny about this Kate a couple days ago. I was at a workout class and the instructor said that she thought she knew me from a prior class and she thought that I was a surfer and I said no I'm I've never

surfed in my life actually I didn't tell her that we just recorded a surfing

episode of Opt the looking glass, but she said, really, because you give me a surfer vibe.

And I've been trying to figure out what that means for a few days now.
