Celeste opened the door of her house to see Melanie standing in the dim golden light of evening.

Melanie looked more beautiful than she had ever seen her. In her summer dress and wavy blonde hair,

she brushed it back shyly behind her ears as her eyes flicked up to Celeste's face.

Sorry, I'm a little late, she said to the older woman, I got caught up at work.

Celeste waved her hand in the air.

Melanie couldn't help but notice that she seemed more made up tonight,

with her dark hair pulled up into a sleek bun and more color to her eyes.

The makeup helped detract from the fine lines that were

forming there. Oh, it's no worry at all, said Celeste. Come on in. She ushered her into the parlor.

Moments later, the two women were seated at the piano. Every other Tuesday, Melanie came to

Celeste's house for piano lessons, and she was catching on quicker than any other student Celeste

had ever had. But tonight was different. Celeste couldn't restrain herself anymore.

As Melanie's beautiful manicured fingers pressed down on each key,

she felt her heart beating harder and harder.

When she glanced over at her student,

her eyes fell across Melanie's delicate collarbone.

Suddenly, Celeste's hand came down on Melanies, causing a discordant sound to ring through the room.

Melanie swiveled her head and looked at Celeste. This woman she had come to admire and appreciate over the last

couple of months. What's wrong? She asked, swallowing hard. Did I play the wrong? But Celeste cut her off

by crashing her lips against hers.

She leaned against Melanie, causing their bodies to press against the edge of the piano,

and it emitted a series of unappealing sounds.
