One of my earliest jobs was way back in the late 80s at a chicken fast food joint.

They started me on clean-up duty, but it wasn't long until they threw me on the grill heating

I had to stand up for hours during rush hour, heating up hundreds of corn and flour tortillas.

I knew per California law that every four hours I got a 10 minute break.

So when the time came, I popped into a booth and took a load off my feet.
