I have got to tell you, I absolutely love this film.

This is a really hard script to write.

It was not just a simple musical adaptation from stage to screen.

There is a lot of heavy lifting going on in this adaptation when you are taking Jonathan

Larson's original work and you are kind of contextualizing a little bit of the way his life

went after he wrote this work.

And it was by no means an easy task, but screenwriter Steven Levinson makes it seem all so

seamless. This is a film and a musical

that writers everywhere of all walks of life will enjoy, and I cannot recommend it highly

enough, and I was so glad to be able to do this interview, and Stephen was so forthcoming
