Real quick look at all the headlines as you start your day and I feel like there's a ton today so we'll try to blast through them and the show starts right.

How? And we always start with the top story. We've been talking about it all week in today's the day Hurricane Helene is expected to make

landfall along Florida's Gulf Coast later today and it's going to be a beast. It really is, it's

expected to hit as a category 4. Governors of Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina have all declared states of emergency.

According to the National Hurricane Center, it's going to bring, quote,

life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds, and flooding rains.

They say a peak storm surge of up to 18 feet

is possible along parts of the Gulf Coast.

This really is a big one.

Tampa International Airport

announced that they are suspending operations today in anticipation of the storm.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

Alright, okay, on to sports. In the baseball world,

Shoaho Tani's historic 50th home run ball from last week

is about to hit the auction block. That was the ball that made him

the only member of the 50-50 club in history.

The opening bid is set at $500,000.
