It's first thing with Kevin Mano, real quick look at all the headlines as you start your day and the show starts right out.

And we always start with the top story. Hurricane Francine made landfall in Louisiana at 5 PM yesterday as a category 2 but quickly weekend to a category 1, and as of this morning has been downgraded to a tropical storm.

Still extremely powerful, but thankfully no longer hurricane status.

I read this morning that more than 340,000 customers in Louisiana are without power.

As of now, there are no reports of deaths or injuries, which is great.

The storm is projected to keep weakening as it makes its way

north passing through Mississippi today.

Okay, get into sports last night in the W

NBA when the Indiana Fever played the Las Vegas Aces,

a record was broken and it had nothing to do with Caitlin Clark.

Asia Wilson of the Aces broke the league's single season scoring record.

The previous record was 939 points and she now has 956.

Also the Aces have four games left in the season so there's plenty of time to get those numbers even higher

The aces won that game by the way 86 to 75

Another record in the news I do feel bad constantly bringing up the Chicago

White Sox and their terrible season but they are now only six losses away from

a record. The 1962 Mets hold the record for most losses in modern day major league baseball history

with 120 losses in one season and if the socks lose six of their next 15 games are

going to tie that record and need seven to beat it.

Lastly, Thursday night football is back.
