It's Thursday, October 6, 2022. I'm Albert Moller and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview.

No doubt this week will be understood as important for many reasons,

0:18.0

but in the United States, one central reason is that this week marks the new term of the United States Supreme Court.

is this. We are living in a country that in terms of so many political directions

1:26.6

has been headed left. But the Supreme Court of the United States has been headed in the opposite

1:31.5

direction.

1:32.6

Now, how is that so?

1:34.0

Why is it so?

1:35.4

Well, the first why has to do with the fact
