Elon Musk gave Twitter employees an ultimatum, work hard or get out. He sent a letter this week that was titled A Fork in the Road and told employees who choose to stay with a company, they'll need to be extremely hardcore and expect to work long hours at high intensity.

He also said Twitter will be engineering driven, and while design and product management will be important that at its heart, Twitter is a

software and servers company. Elon included a Google form link in his email and said whoever wants

to be a part of the new Twitter should click the link. He also explained that anyone who has not

responded to the form by today at 5 p.m. Eastern

time will automatically receive three months severance and will no longer be a part of the company.

Yesterday, the Senate passed the Respect for Marriage Act with a strong bipartisan vote of 67 to 37.

This act protects same-sex marriages and interracial marriages by law and was originally

passed by the House shortly after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

Many people feared that the Supreme Court could take up same-sex marriage or interracial

marriage at some point, so Congress took up the

issue themselves. But since the legislation was changed in the Senate, it needs to go back to the

House of Representatives for another vote before it heads to the president's desk to be signed into law.
