New Jersey peeps, listen up. I need you to look out for your neighbor.

You have a drought, a very serious drought happening right now, and it's time to reduce your water usage.

Yesterday, the state's governor issued a drought warning. It's the driest conditions the state has seen in 120 years. It's caused

the wildfires I talked about earlier this week. New Jersey usually gets heavy rain in October,

but some parts of the state have been in a drought for over 40 days. The water usage reduction

is only voluntary right now, but the two main reservoirs for the

state are only at 45% and 51% capacity. And in other weather news, like the opposite kind of weather,

Hurricane Sarah could hit Florida by the middle of next week. It would be a Category 3 hurricane and could have

wind speeds up to 111 miles per hour. The Atlantic hurricane season has already killed 326 people.

I think the weirdest thing that we've learned since Election Day is that being a member of the White House administration is pretty great if you're being investigated for criminal activity.

Because last week, I talked about how the Department of Justice announced they're going to be ending their investigations into Donald Trump trying to overthrow the last election because they have this unwritten rule

about investigating a sitting president, which will happen in 2025. But Trump isn't the only one

avoiding an investigation. Florida Representative Matt Gates was being investigated by the

House Ethics Committee for sex trafficking, drug use, and, and Sexual Misconduct with a Teenager.

But yesterday, Donald Trump announced Matt Gates would become our next Attorney General.
