Then they woke up to not only their draft Kings accounts being a little bit fatter because of their Jackson Smith and Jigma bets, because he ended up waking up. Seahawks ended up waking up as well, come back, beat the Rams. He might not have seen this wild two-point conversion against the Rams that help force overtime. And so, Barth, I'm going to leave this to you to help explain this because you got a lot of people. And look, I'm usually one of these people too that are out of their minds about the refs. This is rigged. They shouldn't have called this back. But for those that might not have seen this yet, can you give Cliff's Notes version of what happened in this play? Yeah, so they try to run. It's a play Patriots fans have actually seen quite a bit. A tunnel screen on the two-point play, that kind of quick pass to the left side. And Darnold's throw drills Jared Verst, the edge rusher in the helmet. Verse makes a great play. Gets in the backfield very quickly, jumps up in the past lane. So initially rule is incomplete, but they go to review and they find out, as is usually the case on that play, Darnold actually threw the ball backwards. It wasn't clear his ball didn't go that far before it hit the defender, but he threw the ball backwards. So that's a live ball. The ball hits off versus helmet, ricochets into the end zone, where Zach Charbonnet,

the running back just kind of walks over and picks it up, not recovering a fumble or anything,

because again, it was rolled incomplete, just kind of picks up the football because got to get

it off the field, make room for the next play.

Because it was, and this is where some people are confused about the rule, I'm still kind of confused, but I've seen a couple of different people point this out, including the NFL Zebras account on Twitter, which is usually pretty good on the referee stuff. Because a lot of people said, hey, you can't advance a fumble on a two-point play. Apparently, there's a difference between a fumble and a backwards pass.

And a backwards pass can be advanced, but a fumble can't.

So because Charbonnet picked up the ball, that's a, in the end zone, that's a clear recovery.

So Seattle got the two points.

This is unbelievable.

So I do think they actually officiated it right. The rule, they're probably going to relook at that rule somehow, some way in the off season. You know, it's akin to, I saw somebody point this out, well, you have a pick six that's ruled incomplete. You know, the rest can take points off the board and say, well, no, it was an interception. We'll give it you the spot.

But they can also put points on the board for the offense.

So they're going to have to do something about that.

It was, you're never going to see that again. It was a one in a million play. It's, you know, it's a loophole. It's a heads-up play. and it's something, and it's not how you usually mean it, Maz, but you're always yelling.
