And we begin with the breaking news overnight in the war with Iran.

Dueling air strikes.

The U.S. hit southern Iran, Iran retaliated on the U.S. airbase in Kuwait.

claims he's under no pressure to agree to a deal. Senior political correspondent Rachel Scott

starts us off from the White House. Good morning, Rachel. George, good morning to you. And just

days ago, President Trump was praising negotiations, saying they were making a lot of progress.

But overnight, the Trump administration launching yet another round of attacks the second

in just 48 hours.

And this morning, Iran is responding.

This morning, the U.S. accusing Iran of an egregious ceasefire violation after the U.S.

and Iran traded strikes overnight.

U.S. officials say the U.S. hit an Iranian ground control station after Iranian forces launched five one-way attack drones that pose a clear threat to the Strait of Hormuz.

The Pentagon says all drones were successfully intercepted by U.S. forces calling the action defensive.

But overnight, Iran responded.
