We're starting today with the failure of the Women's Health Protection Act in the Senate,

which would have codified the right to an abortion federally.

All 50 Republicans and their boy Maserati Manchin voted against it.

Susan Collins' better-grade youth-to-side walk chalk protests, I hear kids love those.

Next, we have some primary election results out of West Virginia and Nebraska from earlier

this week, and what they mean for voter sentiment.

In their Republican primary for Nebraska governor, the more, shall we say, traditional

Republican candidate, Jim Pillen, won out over the Trump-backed one, who had been accused

by eight women of sexual misconduct.

However, in West Virginia, Trump's candidate Alex Mooney had better luck in his primary

election for a congressional seat.

No word yet on how many people, if any, he has violated.

While we're on the election beat, a federal judge said yesterday that he would block

Florida governor Rhonda Santa's redistricting map as unconstitutional, given that it breaks

up a district where black voters can choose their representatives.

The circuit judge said that he will issue a formal order tomorrow or Friday to keep the

maps from taking effect in November's election.

The Santa's already says he plans to appeal the order, meaning that the final map will

likely be approved by Florida's conservative-leaning Supreme Court.
