Country singer, Sturgell Simpson and TV personality, Maria Manunoz.

They're both 45 today, born on the same day. Juliana Margulese is 57 today, keen in ivory wands is 65.

I loved in living color when I was a kid. And Bonnie total eclipse of the heart Tyler is 72. Happy birthday folks.

And in movie history yesterday, I mentioned the anniversary of goonies.

Today, it's two more movies that start with G. Ghostbusters and Gremlins both opened on this date in 1984,

both of them on the same day. Classics, what a day that was. 39 years ago today.

Okay, here we go. We will start with the top story and it's another day with exceptionally poor air quality out there as hundreds of wildfires continue to burn in Canada.

That smoke continues to drift down, essentially crippling parts of the country.

15 states were under air health warnings yesterday. Residents are being asked to limit their time outside.

At least 100 million people have been affected by these air quality alerts.

In New York, flights were grounded out of LaGuardia due to low visibility. Yesterday, schools have been canceling outdoor activities.

Concerts are being canceled. I know tonight's Chris Stapleton show in Syracuse is being rescheduled.

The WNBA called off a game last night. The Yankees white socks game was postponed. It's bad and Philly too.

The Philly's Tigers game was also rescheduled. Both of those games are supposed to be made up today.

Washington DC is supposed to have it worse than New York City today.

So again, stay safe everybody. This is supposed to last until at least Saturday.

All right, okay. Getting into sports here. A couple updates.

The Nuggets won Game 3 of the NBA Finals last night. They beat the heat in Miami.
