Good morning, America. We have a lot of

news to get to this morning. Big news also about the late Great Whitney Houston, who's getting so

emotional. We're filled with happiness. That's our emotion on this Thursday morning. Absolutely.

That voice. The name too, pretty good too. Whitney, yes. We'll have much more on that ahead. First, though, Rebecca will have advice for recent grads,

But we're going to begin with the severe storms that are hitting the Midwest and Southeast,

at least a dozen reported tornadoes. And there is, though, some relief from the brutal heat wave here in the northeast.

Yes, and we had that video of that home tilted on its side, suspended there by a tornado.

It's hard to imagine surviving something like that.

in nearly 300 severe storm reports all across the nation.
