Live from ABC News headquarters in New York City, this is Good Morning America.

We're going to begin with the showdown between the U.S. and Iran.

President Trump has had meetings in the situation room for the past two days, weighing a decision

on whether the U.S. forces will join Israel in attacking Iran's nuclear facilities.

He says he has not made a final decision yet, but a source tells ABC News that the president

is getting comfortable with the idea

of taking out a key Iranian nuclear facility called Fordo, built 300 feet deep inside a mountain.

Because the President has approved an attack plan in the event, he does decide to take military action.

He has not, as you said, ruled out. Well, a diplomatic solution. It hasn't ruled that out yet.

We're going to have the latest from the ground in Israel.
