It's first thing with Kevin Mano, real quick and efficient look at all the headlines across the board.

I'm a fan of brevity people are

constantly sharing too many opinions I try to cut that out and just get through the

facts I guess that was an opinion either way the show starts right now

and we always start with the top story yesterday.

The House voted to hold Attorney General Mary Garland in contempt of Congress for refusing

to turn over audio of the president.

It's audio from an interview regarding President Biden's classified documents case.

Mary Garland spoke after the vote and called it deeply disappointing.

He said it's the job of the Justice Department to protect its

investigations and it was turned into a partisan weapon here. It's highly

unlikely that anything is going to come of this or happen to him. The

Justice Department, which he oversees, likely will not prosecute him.

So this vote was mostly symbolic.

Fighting between the two parties, business as usual.

All right, okay. A couple sports headlines here. Sad news out of the NBA, an absolute

legend in the truest sense of the word Jerry West. He just passed away. He was a

player, a scout, a coach, an executive, and a consultant.

Some would say he was the greatest general manager in NBA history.

He was the inspiration for the NBA logo. An actual photo of him was used as that silhouette.
