0:07.0	I'm Albert Mooler, and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian

0:13.5	Well, unexpectedly in terms of speed,
0:16.3	the jury in the Hunter-Biden trial
0:18.6	came back with a guilty verdict on three felony counts
0:21.3	after just three hours of deliberation.
0:24.1	Those three hours were actually spread over two court days and so it was earlier than expected
0:29.0	on Tuesday in which the verdict was handed down.
0:33.0	And when you look at the situation here, there are some huge lessons for us to think about
0:36.8	some huge worldview dimensions for our consideration.
0:40.6	First of all, let's just remember that we're talking about Hunter Biden, the surviving son of the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, and we are talking about a situation in which there have been a plea agreement with an independent prosecutor that was appointed on behalf of the Department of Justice and that fell apart under political scrutiny, but it also we need to remember fell apart after a federal judge refused to approve it because of its
1:07.1	unusual structure. So that meant that the prosecution had to go back to some
1:12.2	basic building blocks and quite frankly had to do so with the world watching and so Hunter Biden was indicted on charges on
1:23.2	an illegal gun purchase and on the West Coast we are looking at an impending
1:27.5	trial in a matter of just a few months on income tax evasion.
1:31.2	And by the way in terms of legal consequence the second trial is far
1:36.0	more significant at least as thought by legal authorities than the first trial. But we are talking
1:41.5	about three felony convictions and here we are talking about three felony convictions and here we are talking about a most
1:45.4	unusual political season. We have talked about the verdict handed down in the
1:50.4	Trump trial and now we're talking about a verdict handed down in a
1:53.8	Biden trial but this isn't the president of the United States it is however the
