Let's start with the COVID news.

Vaccine mandates appear to be trending up, with President Biden announcing a requirement

that all federal employees and contractors be vaccinated, or be required to submit to

regular testing and mitigation requirements.

But Google and Facebook announced yesterday that all of their employees must be vaccinated

in order to return to the office.

But there's still no word on what Facebook plans to do when their employees push back

on the new policy, after they reference some posts that they saw on Facebook.

But the COVID-related announcements don't end there.

The CDC said yesterday that the virus is only a few mutations away from potentially being

able to evade vaccines, while Pfizer came out the statement that third vaccine doses strengthen

protection against the variant.

So, if any anti-vaxxers don't want their dose, I will happily take it.

And lastly, the United Kingdom announced yesterday that they'll be dropping their

quarantine rule for vaccinated Americans and Europeans by August 2nd.

Now let's bring back our favorite segment, headlines that speak for themselves.

Last night, the Senate voted 67-32 to move forward on the bipartisan infrastructure package.

This means that there will be a final vote on the bill in the coming days.

The bill is expected to cost around $1.2 trillion over 8 years, on projects including

roads, bridges, clean energy transmission, and broadband.
