Taylor Schilling from Orange is the new black. She's celebrating.

John of the Reese Myers as well. Alex Rodriguez, Maya Rudolph and television legend, Norman Lear,

is 101 years old today. He's created or produced an insane amount of TV shows, really an icon, 101 Happy Birthday.

And on this date in music history, 40 years ago today, Madonna released her debut album, July 27th, 1983, the song's holiday,

Lucky Star, and this one borderline were all on there. It all started from Madonna with that album, 40 years ago today.

All right, let's go. I'm not, I'm not sure why there's so much going on right now, but a lot of big news broke yesterday.

I always start with the top story. And today I've got two, both in the world of politics.

First, President Biden, son Hunter Biden was in court yesterday and there was a lot of confusion.

The federal prosecutors and Hunter's lawyers were not agreeing on the terms of the plea deal, which is something that probably should have been ironed out prior to yesterday.

The judge in that case is given the two sides 30 days to figure it out. Really, it has to do with whether or not admitting to tax crimes would grant him immunity from other charges.

Looks like we're going to find out in a month.

Now, the other big story out of Washington yesterday had to do with Senator Mitch McConnell, kind of a scary moment.

Have you seen that video? He just started a press conference when he froze just unable to speak.

He was completely silent for 19 seconds, just staring straight ahead. He was then escorted away from the press and his aides ultimately said lightheadedness was the reason he came back later and did answer some questions.

It came out last night that President Biden called him, but these two are not exactly best friends, called him to check on him last night.

Mitch, who is 81, suffered a concussion earlier this year following a fall.
