For our first story, we have an update on Britney Spears' situation.

An LA Superior Court judge has allowed Britney Spears to hire her own lawyer, and her choice

of counsel, Matthew Rosengart, has officially been approved.

At the same hearing, Britney also told the judge that she wants her father, Jamie Spears,

to be charged with conservatorship abuse.

As of now, Britney being able to retain her own counsel is the first step in showing

that she is the full capacity required to potentially end the conservatorship.

As if the years of Vegas Residencies hadn't already established that.

Our second story is about yet another pop singer, the Britney Spears of 2021 some might

say.

Yesterday, Olivia Rodrigo went to the White House to meet with President Biden and Dr.

Fauci as part of the administration's efforts to encourage younger Americans to get vaccinated.

And if people don't believe the vaccines are going to be good for you and make you look

happy and healthy when Olivia says it, I just don't know if they ever went.

Yesterday, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed legislation requiring that Asian American

history be taught in public schools starting in the 2022 to 2023 school year, making Illinois

the first date to pass such a requirement.

This comes as Asian Americans are facing hate incidents at a higher rate than ever reported

before.
