begin with some breaking

news overnight. More than two dozen workers trapped after a tunnel collapsed at a construction

site in Los Angeles. Firefighters and other first responders raised to the scene. We're going to

show you the incredible moment where all the workers made it out. Canaan Whitworth is there. Good

morning, Kana. Yeah, George, good morning to you.

The first word from officials on this simple and profound, we were lucky.

Now, there is some renewed activity here at this site.

You can see it behind me.

But to give you some perspective, these workers were trapped some 400 feet underground and six miles deep in this tunnel with only moments to react.

Many left scrambling over a debris pile before they could be ushered to safety.

Overnight, a race against time to rescue more than two dozen workers trapped after an 18-foot-wide tunnel collapsed near Los Angeles.
