We're going to begin with the latest on the investigation to the killing of Alex Preddy.

The administration is now saying that the two agents who shot the 37-year-old ICU nurse

were immediately put on administrative leave, contradicting an earlier statement that those

agents were still working. Matt Rivers is on the scene in Minneapolis. Good morning, Matt.

Good morning, Michael. In just a little bit, we're expecting a press conference with Borders Art

Tom Holman in that building right there behind me. He's now overseeing federal operations here

in Minneapolis as questions continue to swirl about the death of Alex Priddy.

Multiple sources telling ABC News two federal officers involved in the killing of ICU nurse Alex Prattie are now off duty and on paid administrative leave.

A customs and border protection spokesperson says they have been on leave

since Saturday. But that contradicts what Border Patrol commander Greg Bevino told the public

on Sunday. All agents that were involved in that scene are working, not in Minneapolis, but in

other locations. That's for their safety. We asked about the discrepancy, but have not heard back.

According to a preliminary Department of Homeland Security report,

two Border Patrol agents discharged their weapons,

Ten shots fired off in total in just seconds.

Preti pronounced dead on the scene. Hennepin County Prosecutor Mary Moriarty, moving forward with a local investigation

after being shut out of the federal investigation.

We have not made a decision about whether charges are appropriate because we want to make sure we have the evidence.

And this morning, federal investigators reviewing new video in a separate incident,

appearing to show Preddy in a confrontation with federal agents in Minneapolis 11 days before he was
