Last night the Knicks did lose to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

If you are a Nick fan and you want to bitch about it, and you want to complain about God knows what, whether it's the officiating or a cat not getting the basketball enough or whatever you want to complain about, I get it. That's a tough loss, even if it means nothing. That's how I want to phrase it. Because, yes, I'm a diehard fan. I'm not happy when I watch my team lose.

I'm frustrated when I get two open looks at three to tie the game and I come up short.

So for all the Nick fans out there, I don't want Tiki and I to minimize your feelings towards that loss or if it was a win. so the door is open 888808101-1-19.

But I have to tell you my biggest takeaway from last night,

and it's going to surprise you,

because it has nothing to do with the Knicks winning an NBA championship, or even them losing last night to the Thunder. I love instant replay because I love getting things right. Yes. And I love it in all of sports. As I sat there last night watching, I'll say it, because I'm the IBO, I'm not going to be a Nick Crybaby. As I watched the egregious officiating last night, along with the flaws in instant

replay, it really hit me that replay in basketball is a major problem. Because you not only had two incredibly huge overturned calls because of replay late,

including a rarely called proximate foul on Carl Anthony Towns,

which I'm sure most people don't even know what that is.

I had no idea.

I didn't know what they were talking about.

Of course not.

And Carl Anthony Towns didn't know what he was talking about because he's over there like, huh? What's scratching his head? Like, excuse me. Can you explain that to me, please? I will give you a brief explanation. And I watch a ton of basketball. Very rarely do you see this called? But basically, if you're going to challenge an out-of-bounds play, which the Thunder did,

it now, starting last year, allowed the officials to also look for a foul.

And if they decide to call that foul, it's a proximate foul.

So when OKC challenged the out-of-bounds call with about four minutes to go in this game,

and this was a big, big moment, They not only said, it's your basketball.

They also said, hey, that's approximate foul on Carl Anthony Towns.

That's his fifth, and you're going to get two free throws.

Right.

So it went from OKC up three with four minutes to go, and the Knicks getting the basketball,
