starting with the top story today. It's Disney. This headline is everywhere right now. They announced

yesterday that they are reorganizing into three divisions. Entertainment, ESPN, and Parks and

Experiences. With this, they announced 7,000 job cuts out. That's about 3% of the company.

They said it'll save them $5.5 billion across the company. Bob Eiger returned to that CEO role

in November. And this is a huge move for the guy. He said this is, quote, necessary to address the

challenges we're facing today. Disney Plus did just report the streaming services first loss of

subscribers around the world down 2.4 million in this first quarter of this new year. After he announced

that 7,000 employees would lose their jobs, he announced it's equals to frozen toy story and

zootopia were in development. Frozen 3 is coming. Seems like a strange time to make that announcement,

but I'm no CEO. What do I know? Regardless, big news at a Disney.

On to some sports headlines in basketball news. The Brooklyn Nets are doing some reorganizing

as well. Just days after it was announced that trading Kyrie Irving, it broke this morning that

they have reportedly reached a deal to trade Kevin Durant. He supposedly go into the Phoenix

Sons in exchange for four first round picks. It's being called one of the biggest blockbuster deals
