On the latest episode of sound politics, the vast majority of Americans say that money in politics is a threat to democracy.

Seattle came up with a novel solution.

Give everyone money to donate to candidates.

A King County official and candidate for county executive has been arrested.

Scott Greenstone has that story.

John Arthur Wilson's campaign for executive was engulfed in scandal in May when news broke

that his ex-fiancee, Lee Keller, filed a restraining order against him.

Keller alleges he stalked her, won't stop contacting her, came to her home to burst in and

kiss her against her will.

Then, on Wednesday night, police arrested Wilson outside Keller's Seattle home for allegedly

violating the restraining order.

Before this arrest, Wilson spoke with KOWW about Keller's previous allegations.

He pointed out she filed a similar restraining order last year,

but then the two reconciled and let it lapse.

There's a pattern here where she files things.

She quickly takes them back.

Then she wants to come back.
