Show starts right now. And we always start with the top story. Really, this is a wild one out of Manhattan yesterday.

The CEO of United Healthcare, one of the biggest health care providers in country, a man named

Brian Thompson, was shot and killed in what seems to be a targeted attack.

That's what the NYPD are calling it.

Brian Thompson was just arriving at a Hilton Hotel for a conference when a masked man

opened fire on him.

The shooter then fled, and as of this morning, still right now, this man is at large.

A manhunt is underway.

It's an unbelievable scene, a very tragic story.

I'm sure we're going to get more information today.

All right, okay. On to sports, this has been a big one out of the NFL all week. And today,

more updates. Ziz Al-Shahair did appeal his three-game suspension, but the suspension was

upheld by the league. He is still suspended for three games. And the man he illegally hit, Trevor Lawrence, was placed on the injured reserve list yesterday.

And it seems his season is over.

The Jaguars announced that he'll undergo surgery to fix his AC joint injury.

And yeah, he's done for the year.

They said he should be fully recovered and ready for the 2025 season.

Elsewhere in the NFL, the Detroit Lions will host

the Green Bay Packers and Thursday night football tonight. Two great teams should be a good game.

And in college football yesterday was National Signing Day. Technically it's three days, but it started yesterday.
