Good morning, everyone, the Simple Handicap for Thursday, December 29th. Thank you for making me a part of your morning, and thank you for bearing with me. One additional morning is the holiday extended a day longer than anticipated. It was a good couple days away. And in terms of the podcast, it's been a year where there's been a couple more gaps than usual.

I think in total during the season now, there's been eight mornings without an episode.

That's more than I have ever had in years past.

What I will say is from 2017 when I started the show to 2021 last year, there were distractions at times, but obviously now working at right angle sports,

there's been a lot of things going on on a day-to-day basis,

which has taken my focus or attention not only away from football,

but at times away from the podcast as well.

And so on a day like yesterday where it was just a busy week, it was finally a few days off,

it was going away with the family, getting back. I went to record and it just, I always say,

if there's not a lot of stuff that I can say that we'll offer value, I'd rather not put out an

episode than I would put out something that doesn't provide as much value as I think that it could.

And so with all that said, as we get into January,

playoff episodes last year became less than they typically were

just because there's not a lot of stuff going on during playoff weeks.

This season, I think there'll be one or two episodes during the week, during the playoffs.

We'll have some preview stuff going on either on the right angle, sports,

YouTube, or podcast feed with others in the industry who can offer some value on

some of the playoff games as well.

But I'll keep everyone updated.

But in terms of the show, we'll have today, tomorrow, all of next week,

and then we will drop

down to one or two episodes per week that will be more preview-focused, a little bit longer
