Good morning, everyone.

The simple handicap for Thursday, December 29th.

Thank you for making me a part of your morning

and thank you for bearing with me one additional morning

as the holiday extended a day longer than anticipated.

It was a good couple of days away.

And in terms of the podcast, it's been a year

where there's been a couple more gaps in usual.

I think in total during the season now,

there's been eight mornings without an episode

that's more than I have ever had in years past.

What I will say is from 2017,

when I started to show to 2021 last year,

there were distractions at times,

but obviously now working at Red Angle Sports,

there's been a lot of things going on on a day-to-day basis

which has taken my focus or attention,

not only away from football,

but at times away from the podcast as well.

And so on a day like yesterday,

where it was just a busy week,

it was finally a few days off,
